Linux software - for
service and price we've found it hard to go past Copyleft in good old
Dunedin town. Their web address is http://www.copyleft.co.nz
and their contact details are on that page. We ordered some Linux CD's on a Wednesday
evening (email) and they arrived in the post the next
morning - AND we're on the Rural Postal system!
Why Linux? Well,
it's a very real alternative to the expensive Microsoft server products -
and it's almost free. Copyleft charges to make the CD's but as you
will see on their web page, the charges are nominal.
Another useful site for Linux is http://linux.cnet.com/
the cnet editors produce an often interesting newsletter for the ever
growing Linux community.
